Hi there, have been watching alot of your videos on you tube with interest and have been enjoying them.
I’m a registered electrician and line mechanic in New Zealand and must say, even though we are both in the same trade, being in a different country makes it feel like two very different trades.
Firstly i noticed your “Ground” wires (earth wire in nz) is uninsulated.
In New Zealand any conductor be it earth, neutral or phase has to be insulated.
Earth has to be green or green/yellow
Neutral has to be black
Phase can be any other colour.
Then theres the cable you use, I noticed yours has a solid conductor that you wrap around a screw.
Ours is multi stranded and sizing is different.
We have 1mm (for lights), 1.5mm (for lights and Hotpoints), 2.5mm (only for hotpoints) then 4mm and 6mm for another circuit like ovens and hotwater cylinders.
I could go on all day about how different our two countries are in the same trade but just one more thing.
Voltage! your voltage is 120 single, 220 twin, and 408 for three phases.
how does that work?
In New Zealand we have 230-240 single phase and 400 across two phases in a three phase set up, and most of the houses have three phase supplying them in new zealand.

Thanks for reading this and look forward to hearing from you
