Electrical Contractor Advertising

Internet Marketing for Electrical Contractors

I made a fatal error! I put all my eggs in one basket so to speak.
Over the last several months I have been working with 3,yep just 3 business owners which have kept me very busy.

I had so much work lined up I figure I would have to do some hiring. The owners were excited to get going on these projects so when other small time projects came along I figured I would be too busy to do the small stuff.

Well you  can probably guess the 3 large projects I had lined up have been put on the back burner for different reasons. Now I don’t have squat for work.

So I guess that makes me a unemployed Electrical Contractor. S.O.B! Why did I do this to myself?

So I had to figure out how to get some marketing done fast-real fast.I have seen the ads on the Internet, the PPC ads. That’s Pay Per Click if  you didn’t know, and the best source for this is Google AdWords. I knew nothing about advertising this way so I started my research, found out quickly that this can get expensive if you don’t know how to apply a effective campaign to your cause. So is it worth it to use PPC-you bet.I have managed to pick up several small jobs to put food in my mouth and keep the lights on.Check it out.If I can help, shoot me a e-mail I’ll be happy to lend a hand.   sparky@sparkyuonline.com

I started to dig deep cause there just wasn’t any money coming in,I had to do something. I have managed to pull together some work which is helping but I have to tell you that looking at my stats daily I am frustrated.

I have six different campaigns going under several ad groups and there is only one that is doing worth a crap-to be blunt.

Bottom line here is don’t count on anyone but yourself to get you some work. That is not a slam against my Internet marketing-it is meant to mean you have to take what is offered when you have the chance and not rely on just a couple of *under the belt* customers.

I’ll make it,always do.The calls seem to come in just at the last minute.

Good Luck to the E/C’s and Electricians looking for work.
